Nelson to Motueka - 27/02/2025

Time to move on from Nelson to our next port of call, and we head towards Motueka, making a quick stop to catch up with Tony Cook to see his cool 1932 3 Window Ford Coupe,- lovely house and hot rod, plus Goochie gets to meet Molly the Main Coon cat.

Arriving in Motueka early, we find a side street to park in and head downtown to find some lunch before we can check in to the camp, then wander around the town before heading into the campground.  The camp is great with large trees and we pick up the walk or cycle around Motueka brochure with places of interest to visit.  After tea, we head off on the bikes to the first couple of spots on the map.  The first place turned out to be a bit of a dud, maybe due to low tide but then we cycled along the waterfront by the spit and down to the golf course which was lovely.
